From today I am starting to do research on visual communication, which was explained in an presentation today. Not knowing what visual communication is I went an reseached the words on over used wiki which most people dislike :). This will all be going towards my work which is based on a TV series called "The Prisoner"

"Visual communication solely relies on vision, and is primarily presented or expressed with two dimensional images, it includes: signs, typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, colour and electronic resources."

This explains that visual communications has different areas which you can look at in what will help many people in their project.

When watching the The Prisoner today which was set in 1967 you find that most off the items/objects are rounded to try and be more modern e.g. the chair used in The Prisoner looks like a chair you would find in the present (2010)/ future times. As you can see in the picture below The Prisnor is on the left and The Men in Black is on the right, The Men in Black ia set in a futureistic world and The Prisoner never tried to aim at no certainn times becuase they have elements of old, to me I think they wanted to go out of the ordinary, also when looking more at this unusual chair when sitting inside like when shown on the prisoner it gave the charcter (Number 2) importance.  

However when watchin the show importance didnt only come from the charcter number 2 but it also shows a bit of importance in everyone, with this I can see why they are put on the island and can see a part of the story.

Applications of 3D!!!!!!!!!!!!

From my own knowledge I knew that there were different types of applications of 3D that industries use the software for like from the obvious gaming industry, medical and animation. When doing my ongoing research I should be able to understand why, where and what we use 3D for.
